Change The Bong Water

I was at my friends house and he had a bong chillin on his coffee table and the water in it was brown and hella nasty, he hadn't changed it in about a month and i wanted nothing to do with it:cry:. I change my water everytime. dose anyone else leave the water in their bong for a long period of time?

you just described my room mate. i have been using my vaporizer for 2 months, so i didnt touch our bong we bought in that time. i went to use it for old time sake, and the tube smelled like shit, there was black particles in the water, and the water was taking on a brown tinge. the bowl had a mm of resin all over it. it was so fucking disgusting, and thats what he uses to smoke.

i cleaned that shit for him with alcohol and sea salt. i went through 8 q-tips, both sides, to just clean up the bowl. it was like dealing with tar from the street.

some people tote a bong is healthier than a joint cause it fiters with water, but its a moot point when your bong is fucking disgusting. CLEAN THAT SHIT ATLEAST ONCE EVERY TWO MONTHS, AND CHANGE THE WATER OFTEN!!!

When I used to use my glass bong I changed the water every time. Why not right? You just pour it out and put new water in, how hard is that? And it saves you a fucking nasty mess down the line.

But now I'm all about using this gravity bong I made, so I HAVE to change the water every time just because that's how it works.

I need to clean my bong. I like to change the water out often and add new ice too. I have been vaporizing lately though so I have had no need to hit the bong. It sucks when a bong is so dirty all you can taste is the old water and resin. Nasty for sure, the point of buying glass is to give the smoke the cleanest taste possible. Not make your smoke taste like an ashtray. :peace:

I change the water every session, mostly 'cause I don't wanna put it in the closet with water in it. Spillage would be a bad thing.

yep it gets left it till it gets spilt or summin lol but if we get a new bong then it gets cleaned daily xD
