Changed from HPS to MH bulb

Tomorrow my cuttings will have been on 18/6 Veg for 3 weeks, under 600w Dual Spectrum light.
Today my MH bulb arrived and I couldn't resist changing them around for the next 3 weeks of 18/6 Veg.

The glow is much 'colder',much more white.

Does anyone have an opinion about me swapping from HPS/Dual Spectrum bulbs to MH bulbs, at 3 weeks into the Veg cycle?

I was planning on swapping the 600w MH for my 1000w HPS, when I change to 12/12 Flower.
4 x 4 feet tent, so:
600w = 37.5 per sq ft
1000w = 62.5 per sq ft

I'd be interested to hear the pro's and con's of using Metal Halide light....???

I've always thought that metal halide was better than hps for veg, and recently i've read about people saying they use primarily mh for flower too, at a 2:1 ratio with hps's

Nothing at all wrong with quality mh lighting. Especially in veg.

I get that but, my point is, for the first 3 weeks of their life's, they've been getting HPS light.
Now I've changed over to MH.

Could this 'confuse' their cycle....?
