I could be wrong but most hps grow lights are around 2100 if I'm not mistaken. The colors temps you are looking for sound like what you would be looking for if using cfl's or t-5's

philips allstart 330 cmh. runs on a 400w mh or switchable mag ballast

4000k , 1360 µmole/s , 93 CRI . best hid bulb on the market. Higher par and far higher cri than an ushio 600w hps. Open reflector rated (quartz crystal coating) last 2 1/2 times longer than hps with far less spectral degrading. Cmh use a ceramic arc and hps use an aluminum arc. Runs cooler than a 250w hps

Elaborate..

That particular cmh bulb runs on an mh or switchable magnetic ballast only. It out performs hps / mh in flower and veg. You can rock the same cmh bulb for veg and flower. Also no spectral transition that way. Just like outside.

ok and thanks but i just want to get new bulbs for the lights i have. im using a 150 hps for veg. and a 400 watt hps for flowering and i only want to flower with this bulb im looking for a HPS or MHC that is the best for flowering only. The 150 watt HPS i use to veg. and looking for a HPS or MHC that is best for veg. only the bulbs i have grow fine im just trying to dial in the color spec. for each light

the philips retro white cmh will run on hps ballasts. The allstart line is better. you can get the bulbs at the same place of the link above.

the retro white are much cheaper and have a 1.5 year warranty.. straight hps. Ushio has the best par rating.
