The nutes i was using were hard to adjust the ph without a ph meter so i came across miracle-gro liqua feed ive done research on it and people have said it's not the best but it will work. My question is do you have to adjust the ph? and also how much nutes should i add? it dosen't tell me on the bottle it just says connect to a hose and mist plants til soil moist. should there be a measurement for the gallon of water of what?

If you bought the bottle with a hose connection, it's not meant to be measured out. It's desgined to be self-diluteing with the hose and used for watering outdoor flower beds or shrubs etc. I wouldn't recommend Miracle crap though. If your haveing trouble with ph, I'd recommend the General Organics line up. No ph adjusting required.

I can man but where i live at its DESERTED the only stores around me that have anything to do with growing plants is the home depot and the hydroponic store. Well the hydroponic store is already crossed off the list cuz they sell ph meters for $100 so i said fuck that im not paying that much. And the home depot don't even carry ph meters they carry the soil ph tester what ever u call it and people say they are shit. And i don't own a credit card so i can't buy it online unless i can use a prepaid visa card? never purchased anything online b4 lol

General Organics is an organic line made by General Hydroponics and designed so you don't have bother with ph adjusting. You can read all about it on ther website. www.generalhydroponics.com. The only places I know of to buy it is at a hydro store or online. How big is your grow? They make a kit called the GO box that comes with the complete line up and your hydro store should sell it for about $40.

if youre not in hydro you shouldnt need a pH meter.
just remember that less if more. If miracle grow is all you've got, you can make it work. If it'll grow tomatoes, it'll grow MJ

Ah thanks very much i got ripped off then. I went to the hydro store and they were like yea you wanna use coco choir u wanna use nectar for the gods nutrients and i ended up paying tons of money for the nutes there are like 15 different types of nutrients and it was sold separately to me. he was trying to make me pay a shit load of $$$ and i was stupid to fall for it. I am now just realizing this.

that's what the guy up there told me. But im growing it in coco choir this is my second grow so im still noobish with it the reason i told u im using coco choir is because i read somewhere online that its more or a hydro grow then a soil grow because u apply nutrients every time u feed correct me if im wrong i think thats what that person said.

Oh and also i forgot to mention the guy at the hydro store told me that the ph for the nutrients drop so he told me i needed to put it at 5.8-6.2 im using the ph up and down with the drop test and its inaccurate cuz the nutrients are dark in color

Coco coir is considered hydro because it's a soiless medium, but can be treated basically the same as soil. The General Organics will work in coco coir and although I'm not a coco user myself, I've read about good results with it. You'll want to feed with each watering do to coco being an inert medium. Most nutrients do require ph adjusting, but General Organics is one of the few (perhaps the only) line up that is self adjusting. Cococoir should have a ph of around 6-7 out of the bag. You may want to pick up some Orca as well. It's a mycorrhizae and bacteria solution in one. General Hydropnics makes subcultures M (mycorrizae) and B (bacteria) as well. Growing in coco, you may also want to double up the CaMg+. It sounds like that hydro dude is just a salesman trying to take advantage of a newbie. Unfortunetly that's the reality of many hydro store employees.
