cheap temparary lights

so we had a cold front come through over the weekend and i moved my plants indoors except one and now some of the leaves are turning yellow on it. do u guys think the cold got it? was around 38 deg F. anyway here are the lights i picked up at kmart http://www.goodmart.com/products/236432.htm im using two for all 5 plants. im not really concerned if the ones i moved inside live or not. aparently i didnt kill the males soon enough. im just gitting the general feel of the indoors with these babies. when i start my winter garden i will upgrade to better lights. till then i think these bulbs will get them through. i wish i had a cam to let u guys and gals see

Dude, that link goes to a page of incandescent light bulbs. Those are for sure THE worst type of light source you can get. Sorry to say bro, but if you want to go cheap, CFLs or flouros would be your best bet.

Go back, return those lights and instead pick up some CFL's....trust me!

Your plants will just die under those lights.

Dude man...fuck kmart...go to wallmart and get your self one of those 15 foot corded shop lamps and then go to the lighting section..there on sale this week..lol....35 watt CFL bulb...go for a 6000k or 3000k its 5$ ..its all good..those other lights will kill your plants....or if you want a better idea...go t othe hardware store and buy a 70 watt or 150 watt hps security light.....

Those lights create way too much heat...Your plants will frazzle, but the wattage is ok(not great) but if you get a couple of CFL's you should be set.

Not frazzling! That's the worst!
