cheap way to lower res. temps!!

working with 80-100 gal resivoirs, they got up to 80! insulated them with stryrofoam(like $9)and throw some blue ice ice packs in the morn and rotate them and its down 6-7 degrees in about 36 hours! hope someone else can use this!

i shopped the aquarium shops and found a used chiller for a 1/4 of the cost of a new one.

Cooling is a product of evaporation.[ rubbing alcohol on your skin] If you can set up some fans to blow over the water surface in your res it will help some. Obviously you'll have to keep a closer eye on it if you don't have a ATO.
