hey everybody! i'm not sure if everyone has heard of this already, but it's a badass way of tokin the mary jane! it's similar to heating a glass wand with a torch, just easier cause you don't have to heat up everytime. My buddy has one and i hit it for the first time the other day, and wow does it fucking rip! the purest tasting shit too, like a solar toke, i love it. Basically any soldering iron with a ceramic heating element, and make sure it hasn't been used, you just take off the metal part and get to the ceramic heater, then you can hover that over bowl to "vape" weed or press down to ignite whole thing!! you'll have no idea how great it is till ya try it, soooo amazing! i'm ordering one ASAP and def don't see why i'd ever use a bic in my house again! this model is supposed to be primo: http://shop3.frys.com/product/2755633?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG. and check this guy out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUhPMMNekLg&NR=1. peace guys

This has been around for years. I own one, its called the Phedor by Wicked Roots. Its great, I use it daily. Once you start using it you will immediately notice the difference a lighter makes... a lighter makes the herb taste totally like butane. Ya probly dont even realize it but use this for a day and then use alighter. Eww. The only negative is there is no on/off switch so be careful. Silver Surfer Vaporizer Co. is coming up with one now that will have an on/off switch. peace

I didn't mind payin 40 bucs for it, the cheapest vaporizer is like 200! i'm gonna plug mine into a power strip that has a on/off switch. The hit is phenomenal and so pure tasting! Butane does really saturate the herb

cheapest vapes actually are on ebay for around 40-60 bucks. I got a decent one (that probably works better than some shitty soldering iron rig) for 60 bucks, and it has 2 hollow ceramic heating elements (2 people can hit at the same time or I just have an extra one if the other one ever breaks.)

I own a vaporizer, but I'm willing to give this shit a rip! ... Now I just need to buy the right kind of soldering iron ... Just a buzzy thing to rip out when everyone is half-pissed and wants a smoke ... As long as someone is sober enough to use it without burning the house down! - For us 'dumb asses' hahaha!

How do you know if it has a ceramic element? Should it say on the product packaging or something?

Ahh ive seen this but I wasn't sure how to do it. You can't really corner a bowl with it can you? and if I wanted to vape I'd use a vape, ya know?

hahah, wow poplar, i would never buy a 60 dollar vape, it's gotta be a piece of shit! i own the volcano, which rocks, and one of the 120 dollar wooden box vapes with the glass whip, it hits pretty good. and the hakko models are not just shitty soldering irons, most of their models that are 20 to 40 bucks have the ceramic heating element. i'm not saying use this instead of vapin, but it's really awesome for something different to hit! and you can corner the bowl very easily! The bong rips that this thing delivers are just sooo pure tasting, reminds me alot of a solar toke. and just remember guys, when everyone is done ripping it, turn it off! haha

it actually works quite decently. better than paying over 100 for one when i'm not too crazy about them in the first place (though that Vapir One 5.0 is sick . . . )

oh good stuff...i was hoping it wasn't those shitty vpaes with the glass dome, those don't work at all! i hear great things bout the silver surfer and vapezilla!
