I only have 2' of space from the top of my grow pot to the light, do you think that will be enough room for me to successfully grow an indica strain if I lst the shit out of it?? For soil and nut Ive gone fox farm all the way. Any suggestions, comments, abusive remarks.....are welcome in this thread. Oh yea, this is my first time growing.
 
24" to top? maybe wacker... maybe.. depends on the plant... remember, you can also tie the branches down with some string...

id say just go for it. oh and most importantly.... learn and have fun
 
Lol thanks, yea 24" to the light. I figure I can fit three in there easily as long as I lst them veg for 2 weeks then throw them into flower. Ill start a journal as soon as they sprout
 
im wondering if the plant might get burned as it gets taller tho??? cant help you with that tho im a cfl grower myself... but i am curious
 
Two weeks sounds like too long to veg even with an indica. What about an autoflowering strain like lowryder? I've never grown one but hear they stay very short and squat.
 
I've looked into those and will prob be ordering them later on. I'm getting indica clones from a friend next week, so I'm gna see how I do with them first. Dojaguy, yea I guess I didn't state the exact height, thanks for correcting me. You guys think 22" is doable if I lst the hell out of them?

i think he means from the top of the pot lol so he's got two feet of growth to work with. i'd say veg for no longer than 3 weeks. also, get a cooling rack (criss-cross kind) from a cooking store or bed bath and beyond and put it under your pot. that way you can lst/tie down your branches easily. just thought of it, gonna do it for mine today or tomorrow.

nah im not trying to correct anyone my bratha.. just curious. im a straight cfl grower and im not ever worried about heat... im just lookin out for you.

and like i said if height becomes an issue, just tie her down a bit.

Thanks for all the info guys, I look foward to starting a grow log and getting all you wonderful people at riu involved in it. I couldn't have gotten where I'm at now without y'all at riu.
 
chyeah! thanks man, yeah it just popped into my head. the pot would weigh it down and easily allow for twisty ties or string to hold em over. right now i'm using this shitty method of a twisty tie around the whole pot and then just attaching them to that. blech.

but dude! what's that strain?!?!
