Check out my first ladies

Hello gang,

Just wanted to share some pics of my first attempt. I got 4 clippings from a friend and its been a week today since I put them in the pots. I'm not 100% on the genetics, I was told what they were, (each different) but amidst all the other stuff he was telling me I forgot :(

I've been watering every second or third day or so, about a litre with 10 ml of nutrients split between the 4. They're sitting under 9 CXB3590 24/0, but only 4 turned on. A little fan is making them dance as well.

I'm noticing a bit of yellowing, from what I've read it could be water PH or too much nutrients, hoping to get some ideas from you all to see if it's anything to worry about. I'm using tap water that's been sitting in a bucket for about a week.

The plan is try my hand at training them a bit once they get a bit older. I haven't touched them yet as I want to get a bit of advice first.

Thinking about bigger pots this weekend too since I can see some of the roots making it to the bottom holes of these pots.

Thanks to all for sharing so much info, it's really helped to get me started! Cheers.

Nice Mild. Are you going to do a transplant? I did one about 3 days ago. They looked pretty bad and are starting to turn around. I have one that isnt looking great though.. Post some pics of them when/if you transplant them! I want to see if they turn out like mine in the beginning. I'm doing hydro set up though

Hey Hydro, I'm thinking of transplanting this weekend. Looks like the roots will be coming out the bottom of the current pots by then. I'll definitely update this thread with progress. Jen, I don't think your plants would produce very well under regular house light bulbs, but I could be wrong. Lots of information on this site to get started!

I topped my clone while it was still in the ez clone machine. They are looking pretty good (ones in the cloner still). The ones I transplanted might have been transplanted too soon after topping. So they are like in double shock from the transplant and topping. Hopefully they bounce back. I am going to make a thread of my own with pics to get some help/opinions.

PS= This is my first time doing all of this so take anything I say with caution

Yeah, the urge to mess around is strong lol, especially the first time around as it is for me also. I'm thinking to let them get rolling a bit (maybe another week) in the bigger pots before any sort of training.

Could too much light be a problem? As I said, I have a 9 cob LED fixture with only 4 on at about a 2 ft distance. I'm thinking it might be a little strong.

clones need to have lower light until you vigorous root growth never top till then most cut the leaves in 1/2 to relive stress from moisture loss due to no roots

Hey All,

Just posting some follow up pics. I finally put the girls into bigger pots, and these shots are from the day after. They seem to be doing well.

One of the plants had some curled tips on a few leaves, thats the one in the close up pic. Other than that, I think they're looking healthy.
