Chem Dawg finished too early! How do I get them swelling again??

Hi All,

I just started week 7 of flowering Chem Dawg and they are not moving at all! Does anyone know what to do to get them swelling again? I've been flushing and flushing with either Clearex or plain R/O and a bit of Carboload. A few new white hairs have popped up, but overall it looks hopeless--all the hairs are red!

I've never grown Chem Dawg, which seems to be a problem for me! I burnt the heck out of them from overdoing nutrients as well as having A/C issues. The temp got over 100 degrees for several hours. Most of the leaves on the plants are burnt. This super sensitive strain is supposed to be a 9-10 week strain. I have some Headband in there as well and for some reason they weren't as damaged.

I'm doing recirculation hydroponics with rockwool, CO2, I also have a fresh air intake. Humidity is kind of high, 50-70%, temps 70-80 degrees. 1000W HPS lights about 3ft over plants. Oscillating fans going. Plants are supported with tomato cages and stakes. Feeding equal parts SVA/SVB and Calmag. Supplementing with Root Excel, Carbo, Great White, Sensizym. Every time I added any other additive, they stopped moving (e.g. Kushie Kush, Big Bud). I gave them a tiny bit of Top Booster from H&G after flushing significantly last week and that just pushed them over the edge. Ph is always 5.6-6.0, mostly 5.8-5.9. At their peak, the PPM read 110, then I had to lower to 080 to see any results, then down to 050. Right now they are flushing at 025.

Can anyone give me any advice to get these back on track?? The sugar and smell are out of this world , but the flowers are so tiny! They need more time!!!

Flushing does more to halt growth than to encourage it. It washes away nutrients the plant would need to grow more and because flushing soaks the soil, it's a long time afterward before you can fertilize without drowning the roots.

When a plant is done, it's done. You might be able to get it to grow some more bud, but the buds it already grew will be getting older and their potency can suffer greatly.

I will usually give them 24 hours of light 1 time to shock them into growing again?

was the flushing because of the nute burn?if not you flushed too early.start your nutes back up at 1/4 strength...then about a week before harvest flush them again.....and some strains can handle more heat the others..thats why the other plant might not have been damaged.the high heat might also have stunted its growth...give it some time..it should get back to normal soon
