Have any of you seen the chinese 60w Freelicht LED's on Amazon? ($40)

I picked up (2) of them to check out and veg some plants with. Seems like 2 seperate 30w Diode strips combined. Reviews say it can be daisy chained but I cant figure out how that would be done. Shipping packaging is complete shit. Feels cheap in my hands. Looks super duper basic.

Initial Thought: I hope these dont blow up.

-After running 24 hours a day for nearly 2 weeks with no fires or shorts im happy.
-Warm to the touch, no hot spots. Does not burn my skin at all.
-The plants are nearing 40 days from seed with no abnormal complications.
-The light has some sort of plastic diffuser on the bottom to blend the light spectrums. Should I remove it?

Looking closely at the first photo on that listing it appears there may be a cover you can pop off on one side of the fixture, maybe that's how you can daisy chain. Probably have to find your own cord to do that. I would try and take the bottom cover off, see how it looks.

Hi RIU, I came across this older thread about Freelicht LED lights and wanted to add my personal experience with them. I purchased their FL-1000 LED 100 Watt light and then decided to purchase a second since they were inexpensive. I’m using them in my 2x4 GGT. I wanted to try spacing them out to created a more uniform light canopy. I used my basic light meter to find the best spacing and then I made a ”spacer” to keep them at that distance. Overall, the lights are working great after 14 weeks. Here is a photo of the lights with the spacer.
