Chocolate Rain. Outdoor?

I bought some of the Chocolate Rain seeds from Sannie's Shop and now I dont have the room to grow inside. I may not have the room inside for a couple years now. Has anyone tried to grow this strain outdoor? What kind of luck did you have. I am honestly more worried about preserving this strain until I have room indoors to grow it. If I plant it outside do you think it will at least do well enough to harvest some seeds from so I have extra seeds?

Did 2 outdoors last year. I'm located in Michigan and it finished around oct.10. Did not mold at all even with the humidity and rainstorms. Had 2 diff phenos ,one Christmas tree shaped, no need to top and loved the nutes. Other one was branchy and very nute sensitive at end of season wouldn't recommend fertilizing after august 20 for best taste. Also recommend a big space to dry , because this is one of those strains that doesn't have the biggest buds but ends up being one hell of a producer. Buds do come a little later in the year compared to other strains which might lead you to want to fertilize but don't, its just a late bloomer and packs on the weight late. Good luck with the seeds, what do you plan on crossing it with?

i really wasn't wanting to cross it with anything... I just wanted to pollinate a nice looking female bud with pollen from the best looking male. I will have to consider putting a few out since yours did ok.

They are f1 seeds I wouldn't recommend breeding. F2 seeds are not desirable unless you ibl your line with a male that reps your female companion well. Then use ur girl and cube it with bx male, bx 2 male and so on.
