The seeds came by attitude on the second attempt. They were quite small but had a 90% germ rate. In veg the plant resembles more of an Indica. Responded well to LST and fimming I topped to get 4 main branches and then scrogged and lsted and fimmed emerging budsites. Vegged under leds and an 85 watt floro. Plant recuperated well each time once it gets basketball size the bush really takes off. I vegged two seeds for two months and then threw them into 12 12. One turned out to be a male so I had to execute it. Only after moving it to another tent and harvesting the flowers for the pollen. So, after the stretch I ended up with a scrog of 34 x 34 inches. The new leaves at this stage are very sativa looking very thing but still dark colored. After thirty days in flower I have some nice looking bud formations, a carpet of them. With 6 more weeks to go this is going to be an impressive harvest. The plant is very forgiving. I had a few light schedule mishapps and after a day or two the plant chugs ahead with more growth. I think I may have stunted the stretch a bit due to a faulty light timer. My fault haha. Anyways a month in and I have golfball size buds 4 inches long and growing fast. Nutes at 650 ppm both veg and flower. A bud broke off while supercropping so I stuck it in the toaster oven for ten minutes. It smelled like I was baking chocolate chip cookies I shit you not!! For being quick dried the taste was actually not bad. Normally buds taste like shit after being quick dried prematurely to boot. The smoke was very smooth and hits fast and hard. A nice calming buzz that relaxes. My mind was active and it was a happy buzz. My body felt very relaxed. One of the best highs I have had in a very long time. I crumpled a few of the sativa bud leaves into the joint also and the smoke was smooth. The leaves themselves become sticky. I smoked the broken off bud with a friend of mine and his eyes were like marachino cherries after three hits. He loved the buzz. This is my best grow yet out of three total. This plant was more forgiving than northern lights my second grow. My first grow a Jack herer was a complete disaster. The learning curve accounts for much of this. My temps have been between 85 to 90 in the daytime and 77 at night. humidity at 45. At night sometimes in the 60s. The buds so far are rock hard under a 600 hps. I pollinated a branch on the female today as I know this is one I want to keep in my pantry. This is going to be boutique smokage after a nice cure, I can tell already.
