Ckrogues' Perpetual Grow

I have had one successful grow in the past using only 6 26 watt CFL's, which yielded about 3/4 of an oz. Since then I have been on a quest to obtain the items for a real grow, and I have pretty much got everything set up, besides my a/c which should be done later today.

Here is a rundown of everything I have currently:

I know my temps are high as tits but I should have it all sorted tomorrow when I get my a/c hooked up. I got a 13,000 BTU Portable one, with the ducting that come out the back.

Could I buy the 2 way splitter and exhaust my grow tent out my window with the heat from the a/c?

Also, I will be starting another seed once I figure out if 4/9 #2 is male or female so if I have anything you are interested in seeing being grown from seed out of my list leave a post with which.

Decided to say fuck it and put 4/9 #2 mother plant in the flower tent, leaving just the Trainwreck mother and GDP ceedling, along with 3 TW clones. I also decided to try and pop my Critical Kush. It was a little white so I am slightly weary about it not hatching but I have had pretty good luck so far...

Still no sign of sex on anything other than the TW, but it has only been about 5 days in the flower tent and I know they look quite stressed, I had spider mites but seemed to have cured them a few weeks back.

Will update with pics when I see signs of sex/if the CK pops

once you see the bud quality under the HPS compared to the CFLS you will never go back

Yeah I've had the HPS for a little over a year and am just now getting to use it along with the 400 my friend let me borrow. I'm really excited to see how much more they will be able to offer me

CK had a tail about a inch long already so I threw her in a starter pellet and her 1 liter mother pot, filled with FFOF. Now have Critical Kush, Trainwreck and GDP in veg chamber but only TW can be cloned currently, still another 2-3 weeks on GDP and a month+ on the CK.

I also set up my a/c temporarily but I need to find a way to attach a hose to where the water collects and drain it somewhere, or else it will turn off after about 2 hours, due to being full. Temps drop to around 90-93 in the tent when a/c is on at 60 degrees but I know once I can properly exhaust it out the window they will drop even more considerably. The model is acw500c so if anyone has any ideas please help out!!!


I had to order some duct work since lowes nor home depot carry a 6x6x4 wye so I can exhaust tent and a/c through the same duct......

Other than that I haven't seen my outdoor baby recently, maybe tomorrow I will go check on her.

After months of taking care of 4/9 #2 it turned out to be a little bastard. I neglected to take pics before killing it and the clone but I am 100% sure it had massive balls (appeared over night). Other than that I have my CK looking good along with the GDP and TW. I had a issue with my A/C, after thinking I had finally had it all set besides tent venting out window, the duct work disconnected from A/C and made room 106. I had it fixed as soon as I came home and 3 hours later babies were looking fine.

Nothing much new really. Haven't seen the outdoor TW in about 5-6 days now will probably visit it later. Other than that I topped GDP, was a bit blurry in last set of pics, but it has responded decently. HOWEVER, it is looking slightly ill on the lower leaves and I don't know what could be causing it. Any help identifying the issue would be appreciated.

I did manage to finally get my A/C and tent hooked up to the same exhaust and temps have drastically decreased, tent is about 84-86 now which I am perfectly happy with.

Does anyone use the bags of CO2, such as http://growershouse.com/exhale-co2-bag?gclid=CIvt7cvus7kCFYie4Aodj0kAdw and would it make much of a difference for the plants if I had one in the tent, once it gets a few more plants of course so it isn't going to waste

Came home to a bunch of good news today. First the TW clones started showing roots, so I got to put them in to pots and take 2 more clones off TW since the other 2 aren't ready. Also, 4/9 #3 shot out a few pistils over night, so I have a girl in flower! Other than that the GDP is still looking sickly on the lower growth but where I topped it, the 2 new shoots are looking great. Nothing new since yesterday with the CK.

Will go take pics of outdoor TW tomorrow since I haven't seen her in about a week now.

Nothing new, 4/9 #3 has shot out a bunch more pisitils further confirming it is a girl. I finally got to go see my outdoor Wreck and she looks beautiful. Buds are about the size of a nickle and the plant is about 3.5 ft tall now. I rubbed one of the fan leaves covered in crystals and it had a strong lemony scent but with extremely sweet smelling as well, so a strong sweet lemon I guess haha....either way I think I will be happy with the outcome.

Started using 250W HPS as side lighting for veg area. The 110W, I do not feel is enough to support 3 mothers + clones/veg of clones, and since last night GDP and CK look amazing, with CK even stretching slightly towards the 250w. GDP's leaves are standing straight up, I may be able to clone one of the growths from the top I did about a week ago, in about a week. My TW mother is pretty badly root bound in her 1 liter pot, I will pull her out and trim the roots once she dries up from her past watering.

Other than that nothing new, I still want some input on the CO2, mainly the exhale bags and how to use them properly, I'd like to just put on the floor of my tent since the fan is at the top sucking air out, which I would think would make the CO2 rise over the plants?

Will post some decent kiddie bud pron in about a week or so, the 4/9 #3 is filling out quite nicely in the past 3 days and she should be ready for a debut in about 12 days,

Idk if it was just a trick of the lighting, but it looks like your outdoor trainwreck is starting to get powder mold. Other then that looks very nice man, the train wrecks I have grown have had that lemony smell to, and super resiny. You will love the bud.

As to the ill looking leaves, to me it looks like nute burn. have you fed nutes at all? Soil might be a bit to hot for seedlings.

Now that I think about it I may have accidently fed GDP some of the mom's food...

As for the outdoor TW, it was just the way the sun was hitting the crystals, I just went and inspected her and all I saw was flowers 3-4 weeks old. Some of the pistils are starting to turn brown or die off I believe, because I feel its too early for them to start changing already....but what do I know this is only my 2nd grow.

Powder mold looks like white dust on the top of the leaves or white blotches.

So far it looks like my outdoor Trainwreck is about a week or so from chop at most, but it is starting to have issues and I am afraid she might end up being garbage in the end...

Notice in the 1st picture the black leaf (which was also kind of wet when I was checking on her) and in the 2nd possibly some powdery mildew? I was told hydrogen peroxide + water in a spary bottle will be able to cure it before I chop, but would really like other peoples advice on if it would be safe still still harvest her and smoke when done.


GDP died inside and the unknown is about 3-4 weeks in to flower and has about 10-15 dime sized buds, but she is reallllllllllllly leafy. Also have had 2 TW clones root and will be veggin them for a week or 2 then putting them in to flower.

Yea that's what I was trying to tell you bro. The white leaf mold is powder mold. The brown mold you finger is pointing to is bud rot. I haven't heard of peroxide for mold, that's more of a bacteria thing. You can use whole milk for the powder mold, I think you dilute it 50/50. A quick search will show that.

The bud rot though is incurable and must be cut out of the bud to prevent it from spreading. smoking mold is VERY VERY BAD. I cannot stress that enough. you dont wanna smoke mold, don't get the spores into your lungs. Hate to be the bearer of bad news :*(

only one small bud with rot and i am about to walk out the door to cut it off. i heard from a old head that he used peroxide/water back in his days for powdery so i kinda of feel okay with his solution. and mr. payne i really appreciate your advice, Im just hoping it isnt too late, 3 months gone to waste

no problem man, sorry for your troubles. We all have those moments. Is the plant in a location where you can put a fan on it? Getting air circulation will drastically help fight mold issues.

sadly no, she is outside about a football field away from electric. Im just worried because it is supposed to drop to low 40's this week and dont know if i will have enough time to save her and make it worth the effort. I already ran out and cut the bud with rot off and sprayed her with the peroxide/water, the mildew wasnt too bad it would pop up on one leaf, and be on a different one the next day with the previous leaf free of mildew/damage, unless that is normal?....

So after tripping hard on some shrooms last night I just got home from work and was thinking about going to check on my outdoor baby. I am very glad I did, as when I walked up to the area around her location I noticed a large stick stuck in the ground about 5 feet from her that wasn't there 2 days ago. Not wanting some asshole to get the past 3 months of work from me, I snatched her out of the ground and ran her right home to trim. I have already cut the buds off and I am about to manicure to give a wet weight. So sad to see her go early but, I feel she is far enough along for it to be worth it (I was going to chop in 2-3 days anyways.)
