CL + PH Test

Today I bought a little hot tub tester....and my CL is 0.3 and my PH is between 7.2 + 7.6.....and my ph should be about 6.5 right? I dont have any money for ph down at the moment, so is there anything temporary I can use in my water to bring it down till I have money? any input would be sweet, thx. ^_^

You can use vinegar or lemon juice. But I would not reccommend it!!

If you have a battery lying around you can dilute some sulfric acid to lower the pH in your water. It is potentially dangerous but it can be used.

why would you not recommend vinegar or lemon juice?....is there any other things I could do?
