So I got my 60x scope in the mail and it works great. $5 cheapy from ebay. Anyways, MAN is it sticky!!!!! I can take it and stick it to my hand upside down and it wont budge. So my question is, from the people

with experience, whats the best way to clean it and not mess with the optics. A little rubbing alcohol and a q tip? Also the glass now has gotten some of that sweet sweet sticky on there too. Lol, its soooooooooo sticky, and yummy.

i just use generic dollar store wipes, there all basicly the same, wouldnt recomend ones with moisturizers built in for tool cleaning but they are likely just fine to use as well

Alcohol... any kind will do with a 40-50% + Can use some 153 proof grain alcohol from the liquor store, swab, wipe, drink up! :)

For most cleaning, Alcohol is a superior product. That and gasoline, can't get much cleaner. I mean fuck, you can sterilize surgical scalpels, and knives, saws, in any heavy 40% shit. What do you think they did in the cowboy days? lol
