Clone Autoflowering strands?

I am new to growing, and I have been doing some research on different strands, and the auto-flowering strands seem best for my set up, (due to lack of space, I need short plants, less than 20" tall).
I read that on one strand (one of the lowryders, I think), is not good for cloning (which means I will have to continuously buy seeds from the company, kind of inconvenient). My question is, is this true for all auto-flowering strands? And are they good for beginners?

yes, auto floweres get to a certain age and trigger regardless of photoperiod so no, its not possible to keep one i n stasis/veg.

BUT autos are good!! cos you can breed them so just keep taking your earliest and best boys and put them on your tatstiest and stony girls and dust them up for a whole bunch of seeds 100+s.. Also you can branch out and buy some different strains from different companies and start crossing to make your own auto-flower strains!

Also you dont have to have autos for short plants, just take a clone off a normal plant and flower as soon as its rooted and she'll stay short

peace.
