clone from one 5finger leaf?

can i take a clone from one leaf that has five fingers?
u know when the plant is only 6-12 inches tall and it has no limbs just a stem with a leaf at the end.. can i take a clone from that one leaf leaving the main plant intact... one five finger leaf will produce a clone?

No, it will just grow the fan leaf bigger but produce no buds.. Also why would you want to clone it before you know if its female? Unless of course you do know but still, No it wont work
