Clone vs Seed Stretch

How much do clones stretch compared to seed plants?

I used to grow only from seed and I would usually put them into flowering after I topped the 4th node. I'd end up with plants that were about 3 feet tall.

I'm doing my first full clone grow and I'm not sure what to expect and don't want to start flowering too early and not end up with a full canopy. But at the same time, if the stretch and growth spurt is comparable, I may want to flower sooner rather than later.

Here's a link to my current grow. The larger plants are almost 3 weeks old now and have been topped, and all 7 lower nodes have grown out to have about 5 nodes of their own.

The plants are getting to the stage where the growth is just gonna take off.

It's pretty much the same unless you cloned a plant that was flowering.
Since a clone is just a branch that you made grow roots, it's the same plant as the original. It will do the same thing.
Any clone I've ever taken from a flowering plant didn't stretch at all. It makes sense because they already had when it was just a branch on a mother.
