Clone wars!!!!!

I am going to take some cuttings tomorrow and have laid out a game plan to follow. If SOMEONE, ANYONE for that matter can make sure that my plan is not full of holes I would appreciate it. Flushed my girls yesterday with plain h2o and am going to mist the branches that I will use today. Got some dip-n-grow and clonex, 1" rockwool cubes(cut in half) tray with dome and a heat mat. Now any tips, tricks, pointers etc??? I know temp RH air moisture all play a huge part in this, but what is the most critical? What is the biggest negative factor? Diagonal cut or straight cut? dome or no dome? rooting hormone or nothing? Please Help!!!

Hey whats up man. Personally I wouldnt do any cloning without a dome, its only about 5 dollars for the dome, reservoir and a rockwool tray. You fill the reservoir up with water with a ph of 5.5 just below the tray. I wouldn't get anything but Clonex for rooting hormones most others will burn your plants or are more fit for other types of plants. You also want to make sure you keep the humidty up by spraying the inside of the dome, on the top there are two little holes you can open and shut for airflow and I would recommend T5's if you can afford them. You need to cut them at a 45 degree angle, it DOES matter. You ca go to any hydro store btw and get a packet of clonex for 5$ instead of buying a whole bottle you can do at least 20 clones with it and then if you dont use it just seal it up and put it in a few ziplocks. Heating pad isnt really 100% necessary but itll speed things up I personally do not use one because i don't need the extra heat.

thanks heavilymedicated! So I am doing this tomorrow and like I said I flushed yesterday and I am gonna mist them tonight. I have a bottle of clonex, do you follow the dilution rate on the bottle? do u also foliar feed with it? how often do you mist? how often do you open the vents? Thanks so much
