I have been trying to clone my blueburry plant for about a month now. I took the clones about 10 days before thanksgiving and haven't gotten any roots showing. From the looks it looks like it is due to over watering the clones but could be a variety of things.
The clones were all taken off the same mother (who if i may add still looks beautiful) they were but in RW with a rooting gel. Because i wanted to keep the mother going i raised the mother and had the clones lit on a 24/7 cycle about 4ft under a 400 watt hps. the clones started to have a few small new growths, but never rooted out. I Dried them completely in hopes that the roots will start but the roots are still all balled.
My three questions are, first i know blueberry is a very hard strain to clone so is it the strain or is there something that i need to change? For most can they be saved? i don't know how long to wait, they are slowly starting to die. I started with 16 (knowing that i wouldn't/ couldn't save them all), and now i'm down to 10. finally could i, for the biggere clones, cut off the root and re-clone the clones with new RW in either the same condition with less water, or even under a floro?
All advice is welcome
Also please note, the first picture is not of my actual plant, but is a much better picture of almost exactly what is occuring with my plant.
