cloner help.

hi guys got a quick question. I just switch to RO water rather than hauling water in a DWC set up.I live out in the boonies are hauling water is a pain in the ass. We are on well water and its rock hard, full of minerals and god knows what else. I don't even feed my dogs with this water. Everything seems to be working fine except for my cloner. I've got a 30 site EZ clone. I have been adding a little bit of Cal Mag after about 4-5 days to compensate for the lack of calcium in the water, and I'm using rapid start. My clones are rooting but it's taking much longer than it used to with bottled water. Something must be missing out of the RO water. Any suggestions? Im also of course using Clonex as well.

Im in an identical situation..
I use r.o.,cal mag and that's IT..35ml PER 4GAL..Roots in 7-10 days...

Btw..EVERYTHING is missing out of r.o. water..that's the point!

Yeah I was seeing bumps in 5-6 days then. Now it's at least 10 days before I see anything at all. I've thorougly cleaned and sterilzed everything, replaced all the inserts, new airstones, new nozzles as needed, blah blah blah so I know it's not that. Oh wel no magic bullet, it's just gonna take a bit longer I guess

cloning solution? Like from clonex?

How well you take care of mothers determines a lot with how fast they root. Under water once in last seven days and you could loose half and the others not root for two weeks. Over fertilize and longer rooting. Too hot any of the three days before cutting clones. Many factors go into it. Be happy they all or mostly lived. Lol. And I cut 400 plus clones a week.
