I just checked on my plants, and I noticed both of them had the small white hairs that you usually see when they begin to flower. The hairs are very small (I could only see them with a magnifying glass) the strains are Blue Sugar (blue dream X sugar kush) and Platinum OG and I have had them both for a little over three weeks. I have a feeling that it might be because of where I'm keeping them, because where they are now only gets direct sunlight in the early morning and then its completely in the shade the whole rest of the day. I also just transplanted them a couple of days ago into bigger pots and gave them both superthrive, so I don't know if that could be the cause of it or not. Would moving them to a different spot make them transition back into veg, and will this still have a significant affect on my yield since I caught it so early?

If you only get sunlight in the mourning and it receives mostly shade the remainder of the day(like you say), then THAT my friend is the reason! If you don't have another light source I would highly suggest@least a Fluorescent light(T-5 preferably). My plant is n0w in it's 9thWk but displayed hairs on it's eight Wk - Bout to flower pretty soon - Will post new pics with'in an hour > https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/529058-6wks-making.html

its alot easier to find some CFL bulbs and cheaper too than to get T-5 lights u could pick up a couple 26w cfls and throw em in a clip light for ur plants need to get em at least 16hrs of light, if it drops to around 12 or 13 hrs of light for a period of time more than just a few days will start to flower. U can get larger watt CFL bulbs at grow shops or specialty photography shops, hydro shops usually only carry from 125w and up in cfl, where photo shops u can get lesser watt like 85w or 105w those r around $23 and up. For like the 26&23w just go to target or walmart or sumptin like that, ohh u can check the spectrum on the lights too for flowering u want around 3000k and under for veg I believe its like 4000k and up.

Shade is NOT the problem. They will revert to vegging soon. I grow in partial shade in summer almost exclusively due to the Florida heat. Anyone who says shade causes early flowering doesn't know much about the photo sensitivity of MJ.
