you ought to be able to clone off of a mother a lot more than 4 times. in theory you ought to be able to clone from the same mother till the plant eventually loses vigor and dies, which could take many years.
are you sure there isn't some other variable thats changed in that time? new nutes, new soil, different lights, even something subtle as a few points change in RH could be the cause.
is your mother still healthy and vigorous? as long as mama is fat and happy, the clones ought to be, too.

Are you sure all your clones were from the same mother originally? Are you keeping a mother or cloning from each grow?

Is there an advantage to keeping the same mother versus just keeping one clone every grow as your next mother? I prefer just using an extra clone as my next mother but I'd never heard of "cloning clones" being an issue.

I went a few years without any mother and just cloned two weeks into flower but I ran into some issues one time and started keeping one clone as my next mother which has been working well.

some plants genetics change or weaken if you clone a clone and then clone again some will be ok for a long time before you notice a difference some happen faster sounds like you got a fast changing one
