Clones instead of seeds

Hello Nature’s Guruz,

It’s extremely difficult to purchase seeds where I’m at.
At the moment I have 1 feminized seed (AK) from Amsterdam.
I was thinking if I can grow under a grow box 1x2x4 feet under HPS, on age 8 weeks I’ll take one cutling (clone) and grow it in a small box 1x1x2 feet under CFL until I harvest the mother and then transfer the cutling to the main box and so on and on.
Is it possible, your wisdom is highly appreciated

Yeah one issue I see is the HPS in a 4ft high box. You can get 100w-150w HPS bulbs, but been less common means more expensive. Unless you already have the HPS kit?

As far as keeping a single clone under cfl in an even smaller space you could just use a 30w 6500k bulb, that will make an almost bonsai plant and if it gets too big just slice it back down to size.

The idea was if Dimmable HiD air cooled would work for that space since I want to upgrade later to a bigger space.
And for the clone I just want it to stay in the 2nd box for a couple of weeks only until I harvest the main, then transfer it to the main box and when it’s ready I’ll take a clone and plant it in the 2nd box and so on (cycle mode)
