clones

If i took clones off of my mother plant that had root rot, would it be passed on to the clones automatically ? I am going to toss the mother and hopefully save the little ones. Any thoughts would be apreciated.

the clones might be sick from the root rot. But they won't have root rot from the mom. You should keep the mom and work on fixing the root rot. That way you'll figure out why it's there in the first place and how to fix it in the future.

try killing the root rot,10 drops of h202 per gallon of water

I used a cup per 5 gal. Thought I had pic's at differant stages of the rot and the fix. Can't find them.

I realized that the well water that i have been using is full of shit that dont belong. Along with me over watering and a clogged tray on a couple of occasions and oh i cant forget about stressing the shit out of them with cold water, boosting nutes to fix a N deficiency and a slew of other dumb ass noob moves. But all in all my first harvest isnt that shabby. When i looked at the roots of the harvested plants, I figure the mother has to have it too. She is healthy looking but i figured i should get anything could be rotted like that out of the veg room. I mean that shit is a bacteria, isnt it ?

Don't know about that. my root rot bucket sat next to my cloner and didn't spread. I'm no expert. It came down to temp and light leak I think. I added a air stone, fixed a light leak that took forever to find. and used h2o2. ended up with great roots.

Light leak ? How would that cause RR ? And how much leak would it take ?

light leak would cause algae, which is about the same as root rot. algea will rob the nutes from your plant

Im running a hydro setup and I get a little algea at my tray dump where the fitting is a 1/8 to 1/4 inch taller than my tray floor. I have been trying to think of a way to let the water run uninhibited from tray to hose that goes to rez. Any suggestions?
