I took 4 clones for the first time, got them to root in 2 weeks using rockwool. now I have them in small pots full of promix.
been watering the rockwool cubes while rooting with a low dose of auzzi tonic.

they have been in the dirt for a day now and look pretty rough.
gave them a low dose of my base nute yesterday.
how should I be feeding new clones, should I treat it like a seedling?

is it normal for the clones to look like this?

You can feed a clone more than you can feed a seedling. The clone came from an adult plant that was used to being fed (Assuming).
I usually start clones at 25% feed strength bumping them up based on response. Just make sure to let the soil go dry between waterings to promote more root growth.

I start in Promix and transplant to Promix and use plain water. I don't start adding nutes (Jack's 20-10_20 at 1/2 tsp. per gl) until the clones look robust in their new pot. Which is usually the second watering after the transplant soaking.
I like the concept @HookahsGarden throws out about the clones being conditioned for more, although its the first I've heard it. That said, I have never had anything but forward progress with that first transplant... I currently go party cup, 1/2 gallon, to the final 3 or 5 gl.

Very solid system.
Similar to mine., instead of a 1/2 gallon I use 1 gallons.

I had some cloning issues a few years ago that had my clones yellowing out before roots developed. I cut some new ones and I had to feed the clones half strength veg nutes in order to keep them green. Since then I am a little more confident about feeding clones. Especially if from big mom's.
