Cloning for the first time

So today I’m gonna be taking cuttings and cloning some of them. I’m probably not using the preferred more advanced ways of doing this. I will be using take root rooting hormone (cheap probably not the best, honestly don’t know) and peat pods and a heat mat. Anyone got some tips within my system, I’m saying telling me get an aerocloner etc.

Do you have a dome or something to put over them to help retain moisture? You could also keep the dome misted to help with keeping high humidity

Yeah I got a dome, spray bottle and a heat mat too.

What kind of heat mat?

You want only 85 degrees and heating pads made for people will take you way over that. I've killed some plants doing things the wrong way.

No this is for reptiles. It only goes to 80. I’m also only gonna use a basic Walmart grow bulb so the light isn’t too intense for them.
