Cloning problem/help

i have had 6 clones under 55w light and its about 2 weeks that has passed, 3 of them look alive and dont wilt when left for 20 minutes but i cannot see the roots from any sides of the rockwell cubes? is this normal or should there be by now?:joint:

What do you mean by " dont wilt when left for 20 minutes"? Some strains take a while to start roots, I've often read clones take in 10-14 days most of the time. I can't tell you how long mine had taken, I do them in a styrofoam cup of soil and transplant them when they get too big to be in the cup anymore ;-)

its about 2inch tall of rockwell, and most people say if they dont wilt after a while they are alive and can support themselves, but i dont see any root development :(

Yeah, just keep the rockwool moist and mist the leaves, they just appear to be slow starters. I assume you have them in some sort of dome.

Yeah, some just seem to take longer. When I am getting impatient with one I give it a little tug just to make sure something is going on down there. If its a winner then there will be a bit of resistance from the roots, otherwise itll just pop out like nothing is down there. Be careful with this absolutely unnecessary step if you chose to take it, a very light pull is all that you need to judge it!

They are all still alive and getting water through the leaves. If any one of them is close to being ready, I'd wager on the one in the lower left corner, even though it looks to be slightly wilted.

When roots are out the old leaves sometimes start yellowing as they suck nutes. They look like they will root. Is the root zone warm? like 78?

They like 78.. The cooler temp will slow em. I use a heat mat and thermostat. Something to save $$ for in the future.

The dome should keep 100% moisture no need to mist. just a little fresh air 1-2 times a day. Mine berry bomb and white widow took 8 days in soil:)

i have a heated mat but last time i tried i think it failed becuase of the heating mat, i dont want to risk it now 2 weeks i, does the warmer heat make it root faster than?
