cloning question

so i took about 10 clones last night from my plants (first time colning). this morning i went to check on them and they all look very droopy. i am keeping the clones in a dome i got from the hydro store to keep humidity up. is the droopiness normal???

man i feel your pain... i used rockwool, peat pots, domed no dome, three diffrent cloners, ph water... on and on....

until got a heat pad i was unsuccessful... i bought a hot house setup... used peat pucks soaked in ph 5.5 water , and dipped the shoots in clonex and SHULTZ root powder together. out of 17 clones 1 didn't make it (but it was the main stalk) during the first week, their in their 3rd week now and i'm already hardening off and 2 are looking like they aren't going to make it... but its ok survival of the fittest at this point.

but the heat is all the difference... in my opinion

also some strains r hard too clone.

Yes and so is the yellowing that will follow, i will give you 2 top tips ok, no 1 try and avoid taking off the lid if you have to make it quick and spray mist the lid on return, 2 if you have not done this already cut through a large leaf let half fall away and the other half on the stem, why ? the plant is in a hot a hot humid place and needs to swet, this was in weed world i tried it and it worked every time, leave in the dome for atleast 14 days until they knit, then remove the dome a little at a time, like open the vents if any, or turn the top but they are still kind of coverd, the reason for this is so its not a big shock to them to just remove it at once, hope this helps you, the cutting the leaf will give you 99% chance of success, you can cut through more than one leaf 2 max ok.

i dont quite understand

Hold out your hand infront of you now look at your 5 fingers and pretend your hand is the leafs and your arm is the stem, now take scissors and cut through your knuckles letting your 5 fingers tips fall to the floor leaving you with half a hand still joined to your arm.
remember this is an example please dont cut off your fingers in real life, and only do 2 leafs max ok, this lets the clone swet and not over heat, FACT.

Just cut all the leaves in half, it helps to keep the plant from transpiring and losing its water. Cuttings do tend to droop the first few days, but then pick up afterwards.
