So i took two cuttings from my plants and after like a week i stopped foliar feeding them as often and started to see tap roots poke out a little then a day later the cubes felt a little dry and i soaked em lightly in water and i havent seen such a big change so im just letting the cube dry out a little more to see if they make (ive never had success with rockwool) so i been thinking abiut making my own little clone bubbler. Ive never done that method before but do you need warm water or just normal temp? And do you dip your cutting into solution or just straight jn the water for her? Please helo and thabk you fellow farmers!!!

Usually rockwool is easier for most, if you got them to root then you are OK. Next step is to transplant the cuttings into the pot and let them grow. Once they get enough light they will start taking off. You can try a clone bubbler, but many people have issues with that.

Ill upload a photo in a while to show you how much root has popped im scared thats to esrly to transplant and will kill em

Bubbler and aero cloners are nice but you need to make sure you understand hydro. You need a ph pen and ppm meter. You want the water around 70 degrees in those cloners. I ussually mix olivia cloning solution into the mix with Fox Farm Big bloom and then I mist with Fox Farm and Olivias mixed. You want a goot flower nute as that promotes root growth and not leaf growth

I use straight tap water in my bubble cloner. Straight from the cold water tap. My municipal water supply has chloramine in it. I still use that water and its fine.

You guys could also just throw the cutting in a cup of water and set it near a weak light.

My parents used to propagate houseplants this way, cut them and set in a cup in the window sill for a week or two.

It works well for cannabis too, albeit more slowly than other cloning methods, it is by far the easiest and simplest, and basically guaranteed to work.

Good luck!

He'll yeah, tap water and and air stone. Cut, and forget about it. A week later you have enough roots to transplant. Good luck, it really is easier then that. The hardest part is changing out the water every week. No ppm, or ph or temp work at all. Cut and forget about it!

Aero cloners are my choice. No cloning solution needed. Watch your water temps bc warm water promotes bacterial growth.

Tap water is fine. I use it too but like anything the more detail you put in the better the results. i know my tap water ppm is about 150 and it has a ph of around 6.5. Best results use water ph around 5.5-5.8 and then I can add my hormone stimulants knowing I already have 150 ppm of micro nutrients like cal and mag so Im good there. With RO you might need a little cal or mag as they help with absorbtion and plant usage. Straight tap wter will work though. 2 weeks to get rooted clones would be insane. In aero /bubbler 5 days til root in rapid rooters or rockwool usual 7-9 days max.

im an aero cloner (cloner machine), been using it for 4+ years and I actually own and use 2x 25site aero cloners both with 99.9999% cloning success rates. ph to 5.8-6.0 water and I only use cloning gel on the shaved stems. nothing more, no fancy water additives, no fancy foliar sprays, only plain tap, the gel, and a 4' 2 bulb 6500k t8. I change water every 5 days. day 13 I up pot to solo cups with FFOF soil.
