Cloning ?

Is it ok to use lower branches for cloning. Is there any difference between using upper or lower branches. Any additional info will be put to use.

Woody branches aren't as good as tender shoots, but they will root. Be sure to scrape some of the bark off the end, and have 2 nodes (with rooting hormone applied) under the soil. GL
