Buy Black Gold Seedling Mix. Available everywhere including grocery stores selling plant stuff. Buy a bag of Xtreme Gardening Mykos WP. Take your cuttings and prep. Be sure to lightly scrape the outer layer of stem off low. Dip in honey or cloning gel and then into the Mykos to coat. Place directly into the moist Seedling mix. Keep moist but not wet. Do not use any humidity domes etc. Place under weak light.any good threads or articles anyone can recommend on cloning techniques etc? I know there’s a lot on here just want some GOOD info, whether it be from your own experience or somewhere you can direct me. Never cloned and gonna try my hand at it. Thanks in advance
Thanks man. No humidity dome? My humidity stays 35-45 percent usually (relative)Buy Black Gold Seedling Mix. Available everywhere including grocery stores selling plant stuff. I use a dome to keep humidity very high - Mondi tray/dome. The vents are opened about 1/8th 7 days after cutting to allow air exchange. 2 days later, 1/4 opened. 4 days later, 1/2 opened. 6 days later, fully opened. If they look like they are going on their own with the vents fully opened, the dome is removed. That method has worked the last three cloning attempts.i use a dome, but if i feel there is too much moisture i just put it on a slight angle to let moisture escape, and fresh air in
No dome. Mist lightly occasionally. Domes lead to damping off where the stem just rots below the soil surface. And extremely light (emphasis extremely) foiliar feeds a couple times a week in place of the misting. The Mykos or Great White is really important. Thanks man. No humidity dome? Thanks man really appreciate it. Was looking at a dome setup with a small t5ho. You may have just saved me some moneyNo dome. Mist lightly occasionally. Yes to a good T5. Meaning large enough for good coverage. I like T5 for early veg and rooting cuttings. Thanks man really appreciate it. Was looking at a dome setup with a small t5ho. You may have just saved me some money
Yeah the t5 would be strictly used for cuttings. I run quantum boards. And which would you recommend for cuttings? (T5) or maybe a cheap led?(low wattage quantum board)Yes to a good T5. Meaning large enough for good coverage. I like T5 for early veg and rooting cuttings.
Cheap LED. The Viparspectras put out some good plants.Yeah the t5 would be strictly used for cuttings. I run quantum boards. And which would you recommend for cuttings? (T5) or maybe a cheap led?(low wattage quantum board)

2 ViparSpectra DS 600's. Total of 580 true wall watts - each unit recently turned down to about 75%. ( … a few days ago, the Diesel started showing some light stress at 16" and full power.)
