Close to harvest time having a couple issues need some advice

I am around 2 weeks from harvest and I am looking for some advice.

First issue.. I Have almost zero fan leaves left on the plant. Is this detrimental to my final product? All the Fan leaves turned yellow. Alot of them then turned purple then brown then black and obviously death.. some did not turn purple and just turn yellow and die off. Obviously this is somewhat normal for flowering but ... yea
S
econd issue.. At the beginning I had 2 plants per pot(I know that's stupid) One turned male so I cut it at the base of it's stalk and left the other plant to flower. So I had just a little nub sticking out of the soil. Every day the nub gets more loose. But then again, It throws out a new growth shoot every couple weeks. So I'm curious as to why the stalk is getting loose in the soil but obviously it's still alive if it's throwing out new growth shoots? I ended up carefully removing the rest of the taproot and stalk either way I'm just curious.

Third issue.. Ss I was pulling the rest of that dead stalk/taproot out. I saw a tiny little white/clear worm squirming around. I could not see anymore But I also didnt look to hard cause i didn't have much time. But he was definitely happy in the soil and was super pissed when I took him out of the soil. He died almost instantly after removing him. He was so tiny I thought it was a root then I saw it moving. He was far to tiny to take a picture. But it was definitely looking like a mini white(like a root barely wider than a hair) worm rather than a larvea/slug type but obviously I could be wrong and I know without pics it'll be hard for you guys to help me out. but some ideas would be nice.

That plant needs more than two weeks to finish, I would leave it for about a month and re-evaluate.

I would wait until the plant is ready, and I wouldn't worry about the worm or anything else. You don't have much longer to go so just let it do its thing. You have put a lot of work into that plant so there's no point in ruining it now by chopping it early. I say harvest it exactly when you had planned on doing it when you thought nothing was wrong.

Sounds to me like your using shitty soil or not enough fertilizer.
If you ladies have worms and no fan leaves, its an obvious sign that your soil sucks.
Second, the nub is throwing off shoots because THATS WHAT WEEDS DO. Havent you ever pulled weeds in your yard? If you dont pull out the root, they always grow back :)
Lastly, there is no reason to pull your plant???
Your low yield is due to bad soil and/or lack of nutrients, so theres nothing you can really do now, so just start watering it with plain water and watch the trichomes. Once you start seeing amber trichomes, cut that bitch down.

Well first off I dont care about yield cause its the first plant I've ever grown I care more about quality at the moment. And I personally don't think I'm using shitty soil unless fox farms soil and perlite are shitty.. I also don't think my nutes are shitty either. I will admit I have no clue if I've used the nuts properly but doubt I have which is why the plant looks the way it does I'm sure... A couple of you said to put her put of her misery and others say let it go. I want to cut it sure at peak thc which I thought cloudy was peak and amber is degredation... Well all trichomes are looking cloudy to me. Unless I don't know what a cloudy trichome looks like but I've seen pictures so I'm pretty sure they are cloudy

If they are cloudy then I would go ahead and chop it. Take this as a learning experience and do some more reading and research to improve on this grow. It takes time to grow a nice plant all the way through. Congrats on getting a harvest your fist time out.

Are you pullling the fan leaves when the tips are starting to yellow or a finger yellowed in an attempt to make her look nicer?? Leave the leaves until they are crispy and dead or the plant will move onto the next fan leaf and digest that, blah blah so on and etc blah

That plant definitely does not look ready. It resembles a bad Bubba Kush pheno I got awhile back from Greenhouse Seed Co.
I can tell you are eager to harvest, when this is the case its real easy to find cloudy tric's to justify a chop. Let it go for another 2 weeks at least.
I recommend being less ambitious with the training too, this type of bending isn't really necessary unless you are using cfl's. It can also slow growth a bit as the plant is continuously adjusting its apical dominant shoot.

well. I am pulling the leaves off when they are dead and falling off. not to make her look nicer.

and i am so ambitious with the LST because i have heigh restrictions and im only using a 250w hps and 2 26w cfls.. so i dont have much light for 4 plants.. thought one of them i decided not to tie down at all and i love how shes growing

are you lst plants gonna have more yield? and did you start them all at the same time?
I always wonder if lst is worth the stress and slow down in growth it might cause, but this looks great.

i do not know about the yeild question... and not all of them were started at the same time. it seems if height restrictions are a problem then LST is definitely the way to grow.

plants are looking pretty good. from your last picture your not ready for harvest. alot of white hairs that should recede when more ready.
