I'm in the same boat brother. Yes, a dehumidifier is what you need in order to really lower the humidity in your closet. Although, they can be fairly expensive. If you can't quite afford one yet, I would recommend buying some containers of Damp Rid (available at Wal-Mart, Lowe's, etc.) to lower the humidity until you can buy a dehumidifier. Damp Rid doesn't pull as much moisture out of the air as a dehumidifier, but its better than nothing. Also, I heard that you can buy calcium chloride (what's in Damp Rid) in bulk at pool supply shop and hang them in bags in your closet with holes poked in them and buckets below them to catch the moisture. This is what I was going to try but then I was able to find a cheap, used dehumidfier. Best of luck.

After doing a little research I've decided I gotta pick me up some of this Damp Rid stuff, to lower the humidity in the flower room, and it's even supposed to help with the dank smell. Is anyone else using this stuff?

No but I'm at about 50% in my first closet grow witch Ive read is the lower of the scale and plan to use damp rid for the last few weeks of flowering. When they say lower is better to produce better stuff.
