Closet Growing Tips

Ok so I plan on having a set up in my closet. Its a little bigger than an average sized closet, I can actually stand inside of it close the door and still have plenty of room to do whatever. My question is the light. I do plan on using HPS. Someone told me for an area that size all I would really need is a 250w hps. I only plan on doing about 4 plants. Would a 250w hps light be enough? or should I get a 600w?

A 250 should be enough,it might not give maximum results but it will do fine. I had a 400w hps in a closet that was 3 x 3 and it was more than enough, the only thing to worry about is heat, with more watts comes more heat. If you are able to vent and cool everything down with fans i would go more than 250w.
