Closet seedling grow box

Hey everyone. Since I can't start my seeds indoors in an open area I've thought up a plan. I'm planning on germinating the seeds and planting them in organic sprouting soil. This is the part that I need opinions on. I'm planning on getting a large tuperware bin and attaching fluorescent bulbs underneath the lid. Then I will grow the seedlings until they get too big to fit in the container. I'll be drilling lots of small holes in the bin to promote airflow and im just wondering if I should line the box with tin foil for light reflection and also if there will be enough airflow with the holes drilled. Im also wondering if I could skip the indoor, germinate, and plant outdoors in a transparent covered container. any thoughts would be apprecated. Thank you :)

umm I have seen ppl attach cfls to the tops of BIG rubbermaid containers for starting seeds and it worked out well but you need a good exhaust and intake or your plants are gonna fry...and tinfoil is a NO NO it creates hot spot for your plants you can get mylar pretty cheap on ebay but if your really strapped for cash go to wal-mart and go the the camping section near the hunting and fishing stuff and get yourself a couple *emergecy blankets* there about $3.00 a piece and cover a pretty large surface area but you need to have them double layerd or they are kinda see through...but yah just cut a couple holes in the side if the box one at the top right of the box and one at the bottom left side and get yourself a few computer cooling fans and put them in the holes you just cut and have the top one exhausting air from the box and the bottom one as your intake. Also make sure if your just veggin your plants in there not flowering you get they daylight spectrum cfls...the soft white ones are better for flowering than veggin
Hope this helps...

Mylar reflects up to 98% of light. In a box thats almost 6x what is there. a sm. roll will do a lg. closet easy.
