Closet setup-newbie

go to a jo-ann fabrics or a store like it and get the shiny white poster board works great and its like 49 cents for a 36x42 inch sheet

the most lights i can have is prolly 8-10 do you think this will be enough for my closet? i mean, i know that each plant needs 4-6 of them 42w cfls. but since they are all in the same confined space you dont think that havent like three plants in a triangle with 4 bulbs will work? eve if it doesnt, thats what im doing lol. im no professional and i dont expect amazing results. just giving this a try and trying my luck. thanks for all the suggestions, im taking em all in and compensating for what i have/can do. anymoe CHEAP suggestions are helpfull. this is my second grow. my first grow i did 24/0 untill the plants were like 3 1/2 feet tall... mistake haha.. 6 feet and strechy as hell right now. im going to flower when their about 12-16 inches

10 lights for 3 plants should do ok for awhile. Those plants need as much light as you can throw at them...if you want, look a my gallery pics and see what 7 cfl's do for 1 plant...you'll get an idea.

i went to the store today and seen some 200w cfl's.. and also a cheap shoplight fixture that can hold (2) 4ft bulbs up to liek 40w each or something like that. should i just replace my current bulbs with 200w cfls or just get the shoplight nd put two 4ft bulbs in that.

For 3 plants the shop light would do best...make sure it's 6500K daylight. Also try to find the T8 setup, they give off more lumens per watt and are even lighter on the electric bill then T12's. T5's would be best if you can find them, but where i live i can't find them at any store.

i did see the shop light can handle the t8's and t12's i believe and maybe t5's and the fixture was only 20 bucks. i guess i may end up just buying two of them and putting them in the closet, because im hoping i have more than 3 plants, i planted 25 ill keep all of them till i run out of room or weed out the males. but yea when i get some money ill invest in them lights . cheap and theyll work.

You will get MUCH MORE BUD WITH 3-4 bigger, well lit plants than you will get with 9-10 smaller plants with little light

i thought it would be better to have 6 females share 6 40w cfl's WRONG!!!! each bud was like .4 grams and fluffy and shitty for a total of like 4 grams of fluffy shit....

i got much better results with ONE plant with 4 40w almost 13 grams!!!! of denser dank bud

i didnt relize their could be that much difference with the lighting, i know its important, but i didnt relize it would make a 12 gram difference. here are two pics of what i got setup right now. when i get money i will be buying two shop lights that hold (2) 4ft bulbs each. i will also be keeping (5) single socketed light bulbs with either a 40w cfl or a Y splitter and put (2) 40 cfl in. i gotta be carefull with the electricity so i will probobly be running wires out to the other room, so they dont all use the same junction box thingy. otherwise im thinking itll trip the breaker.

i know there are links somewhere in the site on how to determine sex early because i remember reading it once, but cant find it so sorry if this pisses anyone off but lol.
with my space and lighting, how would be the best way and best time to determine sex of the plant with still keeping as many plants as i can so i can weed out the males. i cant exaclty have 25 plants in a 8 foot space growing over a foot each before i tell sex so ill prolly have to guess and throw a few outside maybe
