Once upon a time a friend's mum took some some seeds he had thrown in the ashtray while having a smoke one night and put them in a pot with a bit of soil from her garden. She soon noticed a few little sprouts coming from the soil, pulled them out, put the 6 little sprouts in pots of the same soil from her lawn and lined the pots up outside her back door. She took no other care for them, rain was the only water they received. At first my friend took little interest, "Nothings gonna happen" he said.
After 7 weeks from the day the seeds were sown he began to take interest. Fearing the change of seasons would freeze his mum's work he decided to take one of the 6 inside and lashed up a little cupboard with some bits from the hardware store.
The pics attached are week 9 after about 10 days indoors.
My friend wants to know if he should keep the lights on 16 and off 8 hrs or go to 12/12. Is it too early? How does it look? Is he wasting his time or is it worth a go bearing in mind the story so far?
