Hi all, I am currently growing dna's CHOCOLOPE and nirvana's ICE . I am indoors using soil in five gallon buckets, 24 plants under (4) 1000w's. The plants are monsters (averaging 4-5 feet ). I begin week 8 this coming tuesday--- I have been flushing for 5 days now.
Here are my questions that I cant seem to get answered????
1) should I be running co2 in these final two weeks-- eventhough I have read alot of both opinions, none seem to answer my question being that I am using co2 NOT ONLY for increase yield, but also because the temp in daytime hovers around 85 degrees. So
for now I keep it on since my temps are high...but its obviously not going to do anything for bud size at this point.... Is it ok to turn it off since co2 in late stages MIGHT degrade the quality of smoke, but doing so will expose my monsters to 85 degree temps without the help of CO2. What do I do, leave it off (possibly too hot for non co2 ripening buds) or leave it on (possibly weaken the quality of bud)???
2) My room is 1700 cubic feet, I have my co2 running at about .75 constantly during day time, I have a 80lb can fan running every 45 mins for 15 mins....am I wasting gas? should I be venting less to get full benefits of co2.
3) My room is a perfect square with 4 lights in middle evenly spaced, and four circulating fans in corners--- 6 plants per light. I currently have my co2 running from a tank through 1/4 '' tubing routed directly into the back of all 4 fans. I can't seem to find any pictures or descriptions of any better way to setup tubing in a room such as my, so that optimal co2 is being dispersed evenly to plants... people generally describe encircling their hoods with a "halo" but that doesnt really make sense to me because I have GIGANTIC XXXL RAPTOR hoods and if i did that the molecules wouldnt reach the plants actually under the light....only the plants along the edges. ANY SUGGESTIONS, PICS, DIAGRAMS is GREATLY APPRECIATED.
