Co2 @ Night?

Hello there! I was wondering how I should set my Co2 timer up (night/day, on/off intervals)? My partner wants to run it for four hours straight from midnight until 4am. I am not sure this is optimal, as I know plants use co2 primarily during photosynthesis in the daytime and produce it (I think, anyway... could be wrong) during respiration at night. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

you only need co2 during lights on. running it 4hrs straight could be a bit too much, maybe 5-7k too much. as for setting timer we need info. type of co2 equipment, room size are important. are you exhausting? do you have a controller?

Plants stomata close at night. CO2 during the night cycle is not valuable. Keep CO2 for during your day cycle only.

As for how much, how often, without a CO2 PPM meter you'll need to answer mr. superstoners questions, or otherwise obtain a CO2 PPM meter and start supplementing and watch the levels. Increase CO2 as necessary to achieve desired levels and put on a timer for your day cycle.
