CO2 TUBES BLOCKING 400w HPS LIGHT?

Hey thanks for taking a look at this. Got some Co2 hooked up,(water, sugar, yeast) and was wondering if the tubing was blocking too much of the light(400w HPS). I am going to get a CO2 generator but until then I am using this. Just put it up so can take it down or rearrange if needed. Any input would be helpful. THANKS

Just run the tubbing along the bottom...it doesn't need to be ON the plants for them to absorb it out of the air...just in the area.

Huh? I thought you had to run the tubing ABOVE the plants because the CO2 that is coming out of it is heavier than the air itself. So if you run it on the bottom of them, the plants wont be able to receive co2.

the light is far more inportant than the co2. So i would definitley put them out of the way of the light slightly higher

It is an alternative but does not work as well as the real thing(co2 generator). All you need is sugar, yeast, and water. Fill a two liter with maybe 5-6 cups of water then add about a cup of sugar. Stir it up. Take a table spoon or more of yeast and mix with luke warm water then add to the sugar water. Seal the cap with silicone or something to that affect with a tube coming through the center of it. Poke holes in the tubes and run them above the plants or in the plants canopy. My plants are to small to run next to their canopy. Presto. Should last couple days maybe a week before you need to change. That's what I have been taught and I have read. But there are other ways to do it. I heard you can even add molasses to the mixture too. I guess the yeast feeds off it so I think maybe it lasts longer but I am not sure.

thank you BIGHOMEY I was worried about the light too. Wasn't sure or not if it was too close but they are looking nice. I had the light higher for a couple days but I just moved it back down when I added the CO2 mix. THANK YOU FOR THE INPUT BIGHOMEY. +REP

i really dont think those little tubes will effect your light penetration maybe a little but not much to anything that 400watt should do just fine and yeah c02 is heavier then air and needs to be above the plants but maybe off to the side more if you are worried about your light not getting to the plants and have the holes you poked in the tubing point inwards to your plants
