COB LED help please!!

Hi there

I have 3 1800w COB LED panels each iv been told is equivalent to 320watts iv also got 2 150w CFL’s. Is this enough for a 2m x 2m x2m tent. Iv been told various things & it’s just making me totally confused. If I need to supplement these with HIDS? Or get some more COB LED panels.

If we guess/assume you're getting about 25% output efficiency that gives you 320 par watts, 7.4 par watts per foot which is about half of what you would want on the low end. If we assume 30% efficiency it goes up to about 9 par watts per foot.

Whatever you do, I wouldn't recommend getting more Epistar panels. They generate a ton of heat and won't last down the road.

Put all the LED/CFL on one side and put 2 600w HID on the other side, or 800-1000w good LED (Cobkits, HLG, Timber, DIY). That way you can see the difference.
