COB spacing at 1 per sq ft

Probably a dumb question, but want to make sure I get this right.

I have everything ordered, and i picked up my 1/8" aluminum angle today. Ready to start assembling when heat sinks arrive on Tuesday!

Im using 12 cxb3590's in a 4x3 box. Is this as simple as one COB centered in each sq ft, or should I bring them in a little tighter so the outside COB's are more than 6" from the walls? Walls are painted flat white and seem to reflect well, but I have no data to verify.

It depends on how high you're wanting to hang the lamp. Best case scenario IMO is centered per foot and hang the lamp 8-10" from the canopy during flower production.

6" leaves you perfect space to spread 4 cobs across a foot apart. It's a no-brainer, all systems go. Although if you were using lenses/reflectors the cobs could be higher up and slightly closer together, just bare cobs would be lower and a foot apart. But in that space I don't think you could really screw up placement, 12 cobs will have great coverage.

I will be using 90* reflectors from kingbrite. Should I adjust much from my plan of centering them on each sq ft since I've got the reflectors? Will be running at 1050ma passively cooled.

You'll be fine just remember measure everything right so you get the proper light spread.

Nah, do them 1 Foot apart, on center of each foot. With angelinas, just keep it up 12-20".
