Coco Coir Hydro w/ General Organics :::Will it work?

I been pondering the idea of using the complete General Organics line up in a simple Coco bases hydro. I done a bit of research into the idea and by what I've seen it must something wonderful. However, there is one catch, they are all using synthetic/hybrid nutrients. I already got my medium mixed up using coco coir, perlite, rock phos, lime and, humus. I also added in some microbial innoculants to super charge the the breakdown of the organics nutes (General Organics) that I intend to use. I imagine i'm going to be watering every day so I think a water-water-fertilize regimine will work. From my past experience with General Organics, mixing all the fertilizer according to the feeding schedule the ph of the solution comes out to about 6.4.

So pretty much, do you peeps think this will work and if so, should I use a microbe tea such as Vortex to keep the soil food web alive?

I ran em in Sunshine Advanced Coir and followed the feeding schedule & got good results. See some of my posts on GH organics. My solution mixes up rite below 4.0.. so my concern has always been that. I started out PHing, then stopped, then started again.. Im not sure what to believe there.. gotten mixed feedback. It says on the box not to adjust PH. A rep from GH said all u need to do is add mycos, follow schedule, and dont worry bout PH.. I was trying that but had a circulation/heat issue which stunted & burned my plants so it was hard to tell.. Also been told molasses in the end of flower, but if u look at the ingredients in the CaMg it contains molasses too.

I haven't tried organic teas yet. 1 guy was saying thats what he uses the Diamond Black for. Will be looking into for sure cuz I have heard good things. Keep me posted. Always looking for more info on these nutes and growing in coco.

I have the same issue with gh's GO line... it states not to ph but my ph with good clean water is almost 4.0.... i heard it climbs over the next day or two as micros break down the organics and stuff.... but idk... personally i did not have good success with GO.... which isnt even legit organic.... but thats for another argument....

There are plenty of liquid only organic lines that are coco friendly... earth juice and biobizz are 2

Will you be doing drain to waste with this system or recirculating? Im guessing drain to waste, Id defiantly give it a try i personally always wanted to know how the GO line works in coco, im sure if you add the beneficials and everything needed for the breakdown process it could work just as good as a peat based mix. One problem i could see tho is the water retention with coco, im only guessing but you might need to feed more frequently then you would in a soil system.

This will work great. I'm on my third coco/GO grow in Smart pots and loving it. You may want to double the calmag if you are using RO water. On my first and third grows I also add organic material to my coco and let it cook for a couple of weeks. I don't use any microbe teas. I feed with every watering and only water when the pots are light. No PHing. I flush the coco with 5mg molasses & 5mg epsom salt per gallon solution two weeks into flower and then switch to flower nutes. No other flushing.

I've also run synthetic nutes. Got good results but my GO plants were healthier and you had to flush the synthetic plants every 3-4 weeks.

I use CocoTek unrinsed and 25% perlite. I didn't use perlite on some of my plants in my last grow and the plants with perlite seemed to do a little better. Nothing spectacular, but I'm using perlite again.

Yesterday after I mixed my nute solution my ph was at 6.4. In my reservoir. After 1 full day I checked the ph again and it was really high at 8.0 so I brought it down to 5.8. So I might just let my solution sit for 1 full day before I feed the trees.

Help me I using coco and go nutrients as well. 1st time in coco and they aren’t doing so well.
