sup everybody just picked up 5clones today Diesel Wreck, Chem Dawg#4, Erkelen, OG Platinum and Mendo Lavender
i got em in my 3x3x7 grow tent in one gallon pots with 80-90% coco and 10-20% perlite under my 400w hps
this is my first grow with just coco and perlite so all the help or info u guys have is appreciated.
the Diesel Wreck is already a foot tall so ima top it tmrw to have more of an even canopy
i just gave em water when i put em in there pots..not sure if nutes are needed this soon ANYBODY KNOW?? do u feed ur plants right off the bat when growing in JUST COCO???
ill post pics later tonight or tmrw

what happen to all the Coco forums?? anybody reading with coco grow experience? this is my first pure coco grow and can use all the pointers and tips i can get..my girls are just like 2inchs tall got about 3nodes and have a good root system already..should i feed right away??

Coco comes without anything in it. At that stage I would run 1/4 strength ferts and water till you have a little runoff. This gets the medium going. Don't water again until it starts to dry out, then up the ferts again.

i just got done topping the dieselwreck and i just put the top of the plant that i cut in coco and perlite then watered it..never try'd to clone before but we'll see what happens..can this work???

I recently tried something similar and I've had success with it so far. Try to keep the temps around the roots up.

thanks for the tip..yea its looks good so far and my temp has been 75-82 the whole time so their nice and warm..i figure if it wasn't going 2 work it would have already started hanging and looking like shit but honestly im thinking it might start to root..it will be my first attempt and first success..fingers crossed

How did that clone turn out? I was going to say before that without a good backbone on the cutting it may wilt over without a dome. I've ran into this with one of my strains a few days ago. I took the dome off for a couple hours while I did some work in the flowering room and when I came back it was all bent over. Put the dome back on and it was standing back up straight in an hour.

yea i ended up just throwing out that clone, it wasnt rooting and was looking shitty so i tossed it..good thing cuz i barely got any room as it is>>>check out the pics..today was my first day of flower and 6day of 12/12 and i ended up vegging a day short of 2weeks:leaf:
