Coco grow help... not hydro! with few light questions

personally i like soil,coco,perlite mix but gona be interested to try just the coco and tea technique as many tea ingredients in thailand.... anyone can tell me anything about making tea looked on forums but so confusing basically i have worm castings, bat guano, em thats all i could find maybe can get fish meal? advice would be nice.... how to feed and stuff and when... also got these leds which say should be a metre away from top of plants should i follow instructions or lower it??
