Soooo... Been growing in ProMix for a few years, now and I'm just not getting the yields I'm used to so a change was coming. Local grow store recently had a customer appreciation day and the CANNA rep talked me into trying out coco (and of course the full line of canna coco, but I was beginning to think the nutes I was using aren't very consistent so that change was due as well).
My question is... Is it best to use coco in root pots or no? It seems to be a pretty debatable subject. Haha. One person says it isn't necessary as coco itself increases the oxygen that's getting to the roots and another person says using the root pots just makes it all that much better.
I'm certainly excited about the prospect of using less medium (16-20 plants in a 10x10 5200w room... All that dirt adds up). I just want what is best for all my ladies.
