Coco/soil question

Alright guys ive got a grow coming up and have been wanting to experament with my gro media.
My question is would there be any added benefit to mixing coco to ffof? Or would it be better to stick with just coco or the soil?
Hope to get some feed back soon my grow starts in jan.

If this is your first grow, I suggest you stick with a soil not so hot as FFOF, and research things before you try coco or anything else.

I mix promix hp and coco at 50%.

I do this because when really dry it takes water easily. Either alone and water sits on top or just runs down sides so it takes forever to water.
