Cold temps for first half of flower less yield?

So it's winter and my temps were fucked in my basement.. for the first 4.5 weeks of flower I was at 62-65f lights on and 55f-60f lights off. I just got my temps adjusted to 70f lights off and 75-78f lights on. I still got 2-3 weeks to go. Will my yield still be effected? If so how bad do you think since I fixed the temp problem halfway through?

Hard to say. I would think somewhat substantially though :( I fight the same struggle. Days i run my heater and keeps temps 68/78 new growth/swell is noticeable. When the temps are lower I feel like it takes 3 days to get just as far. I also think it delays maturation as well. I hate running that fucking heater. 1500 watts. I run LED and my set up is less than 750 watts. Thinking about putting the extraction fan/filter on a timer and shutting it off during lights off. Root zone is for sure never getting above 62 in that scenario :(

Im no rocket surgeon, but id say youll be looking at some lower yields unfortunately. When the root zone gets that cold it can't metabolize food very quickly. Basically the warmer the plant is, the faster its internal processes work, and the colder it is, well you get the point. Most plants crap out at around 55. Like almost no growth, leaves wilt from the cold, deficiancies start showing all over, plants stay wet for too long because the vascular system all but shuts down. Total catastrophe. Some plants do alright, cabbage, mint, zucchini, these can sorta handle it. Unfortunately cannabis doesnt like it, so keep those temps up. It may cost you a couple bucks in heat but this trade costs money, so you have to ask yourself, whats your harvest worth?
